Plastic and reconstructive surgery (repair surgery) is used to repair body parts damaged as a result of congenital and developmental disorders, accidental injuries, infections, tumors and other diseases. Although attention is paid to the appearance to be obtained here, the main purpose is to regain health and function. Common plastic and reconstructive surgery applications include; non-healing or poorly healing wounds, scars, facial bone fractures, skin cancers, congenital disorders of genital organs, breast reconstruction, microsurgery, repair of limbs such as nose, lips and ears.
